The first time we took the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, we stopped at Bennet Lake Station for lunch.
Bennett Lake was a major take-off point for prospectors that made it over White Pass.
Old photos show this large lake crowded with every sort of water craft hoping to carry gold seekers deeper into they Yukon Territory.
